Studies have been shown that journaling our thoughts can truly improve our mental health. It's important for everyone to be able to work through their emotions in a healthy way. Journaling can help to reduce stress, manage anxiety, and cope with depression Sometimes we have know idea what is troubling us but we feel off. Journaling is a great way to help us identify our triggers, fears, worries, negative thoughts, and behaviors. Once we acknowledge what is causing strife within our life we can then determine how to reduce that stress. There are many tools that can be used to help regulate our emotions alongside journaling, some of which include meditation, breathwork, exercising regularly, getting the proper amount of sleep, and eating healthy.
Recording things down can really help us navigate all aspects of our life. This journal can be used to record those random brilliant ideas, to write down your dreams, schoolwork, finances, research, poems, shopping lists, the list goes on and on.
