 The intention behind Self Love Nutrition Facts is to showcase several self care affirmations that would greatly improve your overall life if you practiced every day. Even if you are not able to practice each aspect everyday, it’s important that you DO remember to take care of yourself first and foremost! This is not to be selfish, it is about survival.

If you have ever flown on a plane, you know that when they are giving safety instructions about what to do in case of an emergency, they tell you that if you are with a child that is not able to put their oxygen mask on, to put yours on first. If you can't breathe and pass out, how will you be able to save your child? This concept is extremely important when it comes to how we live our lives. When we pour love into ourselves and check in with how we are feeling throughout every situation, we are then able positively pour into others. We are not able to do our all and give our best when our tank is depleted, we are stressed out, and feeling low. Especially when we are responsible for taking care of others, if we are not practicing self care, it can definitely become apparent in how we react to and treat the others in our vicinity. 

If you don’t feel good energetically, it makes it that much harder to move through life. When there are things underneath the surface begging for our attention, we can start to feel triggered a lot more easily by things we normally wouldn’t. When things start to feel uncomfortable in our lives it's because there is something that we need to take a look at and examine.
